The best and most successful movies of the past year are being made for under $1B, according to the New York Times.
That’s according to research by the Los Angeles Times.
Last year, a $400 million movie starring James Franco and Bradley Cooper was released to limited theatrical release in the United States.
This year, it was released on a $2 billion budget and stars Emma Stone, Tom Hardy, and Rooney Mara.
The film is called “The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo.”
The film, which was released in 2017, is based on the comic book series and has a $250 million budget.
The New York Film Critics Circle ranked it the third-most successful movie of the year, ahead of “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.
2,” “Titanic” and “Wonder Woman.”
It grossed $10.9 billion worldwide, according the Hollywood Reporter.
